Republicans for Choice (RFC), a group of pro-abortion Republicans, has endorsed its second choice for president, Sen. John McCain, after former Mayor Rudy Giuliani bowed out.
“He has time and again reached out and worked with people across the spectrum,” RFC said on its Web site. “We know we can work with him to create common ground that will allow moderates and conservatives to come together to rebuild the GOP.”
RFC supports Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, the landmark 1973 rulings that legalized abortion and are responsible for the death of more than 45 million babies.
