Planned Parenthood's Denver Mega-Clinic Opens Three Months Early

A $6.3 million Planned Parenthood of the Rockies facility opened last week in Denver — three months ahead of schedule.

The three-story abortion clinic includes security-coded entrances, cameras, fences and bars on the windows.

Life advocates have gathered outside the site every day since construction began in November.

"Despite the best efforts of Denver's pro-life community, it appears some preborn babies may die at this Planned Parenthood location,” said Carrie Gordon Earll, senior bioethics analyst for Focus on the Family Action. “However, such tragic deaths will not go unnoticed or forgotten, as Denver pro-lifers have already demonstrated their commitment to provide a faithful witness for life at this location."

Sen. Barack Obama, who recently garnered an endorsement from the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, will be in Denver in August to accept the Democratic presidential nomination.
