eHarmony Article Encourages One-Night Stands

Disappointed Christian subscribers cancel their memberships.

Single men and women clicking on the dating advice Web site eHarmony earlier this week were exposed to a feature article entitled “Navigating the One Night Stand”

Lisa Anderson used to be one of 12 million subscribers until she noticed eHarmony’s turn from responsible to raunchy.

“After reading the article, which basically could be found in Cosmo the content of it is so outrageous, I e-mailed eHarmony and told them to remove my membership,” Anderson said.

Travis Williams met his Christian wife (CitizenLink associate editor Devon Williams) on eHarmony. But now he’s leery of their immoral practices.

“I thought of eHarmony as a commitment site for people who were looking to make a long-term commitment, rather than a one night stand,” Williams said.

eHarmony no longer displays the offending article, but it can still be found by searching the site.
