While you're washing up the dishes from your special Mother’s Day dinner, the nation’s leading abortion provider is counting its cash. Planned Parenthood put a macabre twist on the celebration, using the holiday to raise funds.
A Planned Parenthood e-mail to constituents last week featured mothers and daughters who share pro-abortion beliefs.
Pro-life blogger and speaker Jill Stanek called it “grotesque.”
“For it to talk about daughters and mothers and grandmothers is actually hideous because the one thing that Planned Parenthood fights for is for the freedom to abort daughters for whatever reason," she said. “There is nothing that Planned Parenthood won’t stoop to, to raise money.”
Linda Klepacki, sexual health analyst for Focus on the Family Action, said it’s sad that those who have been given life by their mothers are so eager to take life.
“It seems like it is simply a way of almost making fun of mothers — almost making fun of life, because they believe in so many pro-death policies," she said. "How could they possibly send this out for Mother’s Day?”
The real “legacy” of Planned Parenthood? Millions of preborn babies killed since 1973.
