A homosexual movie production company and a gay activist school group are teaming up to bring gay-affirming films to schools across California.
It's a project of Frameline, a production studio dedicated to promoting homosexual-themed films and the Gay-Straight Alliance Network. The alliance is called Youth in Motion, and claims to have more than 225 high schools and middle schools on board.
Brad Dacus, president of the Pacific Justice Institute, said Youth in Motion stresses on its Web site that parental permission slips are not required for students to see these films.
"These pro-homosexual 'tolerance' films, shown to children as young as 12 years old in the seventh grade," he said, "are a clear breach of parental trust."
