Global warming is touted by many as a fact on which there is scientific consensus. This presentation is well-coordinated and intends to discourage debate that could derail the political agenda driving it. If the claims are true, there is nothing left to do but follow the “green” agenda.
However, hundreds of reputable scientists raise serious concerns about how global warming is portrayed in the media. They believe the truth is not being told and use science to show that many of the dire warnings or global catastrophe are not based on reliable information.
The following groups strive to present sound research and analysis that gets to the heart of the science.
The Competitive Enterprise Institute is a public interest group dedicated to free enterprise and limited government. We believe that the best solutions come from people making their own choices in a free marketplace, rather than government intervention. Since it was founded by Fred L. Smith, Jr. in 1984, CEI has grown to a team of over 40 policy experts and staff. CEI has become a widely recognized voice on a broad range of national issues – from the environment and technology to finance and public health. If the government has written rules to regulate it, we have an opinion how it could be done better.
The Heartland Institute is a national nonprofit research and education organization, tax exempt under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, and founded in

The Center for Science and Public Policy (CSPP) is a non-profit, non-partisan public policy organization. CSPP relies on scientific experts in many nations and the vast body of peer-reviewed literature to help lawmakers, policy makers, and the media distinguish between scientific findings that are agenda-driven and those that are based on accepted scientific methods and practices. In a timely manner, the Center's Science Watch Team alerts policy makers, the media, and the public to unreliable scientific claims and unjustified alarmism which often lead to public harm. We strive for a fair and balanced examination of science.
