Video: Sen. Coburn Awarded for Pro-Family Activism

 

Focus on the Family Action presents Grassroots Action Award.

Focus on the Family Action recently presented a Grassroots Action Award to Dr. Tom Coburn, a U.S. senator representing Oklahoma, for his no-nonsense defense of family values.

Coburn was elected to the Senate in 2004 after serving three terms in the U.S. House. He spoke with CitizenLink about the nation's future in an Oct. 17 interview.

Because Coburn had a prior engagement, his Chief of Staff Michael Schwartz accepted the award at the Oct. 19 Focus on the Family Action luncheon at the Washington Briefing.
