I will never forget the first time I heard of Focus on the Family, about 17 years ago. I was a mother of a 2 ½-year-old and a new baby with a husband who worked a lot. I was trying to manage the household, care for my family and work, and was completely overwhelmed. I remember getting a Focus on the Family magazine in the mail one day, completely out of the blue. I still do not know who requested it for me! That magazine just happened to feature Elisa Morgan from MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and had several great parenting articles … exactly what I needed!
The next day, I received the "Toddler Talks" and a very funny Focus tape from Ken Davis in the mail from my sister. I was hooked! Focus on the Family has not only helped me tremendously with parenting toddlers, pre-teens and now teens, your resources have helped me with my marriage as well as my relationship with God. In addition, I count on Focus on the Family to keep me informed on political/cultural issues, as I am convinced we cannot rely on the mainstream media to tell us the truth.
