National Life Chain Set for Sunday

Life advocates across the nation will gather on the streets Sunday for an hour of silent prayer and public witness for the preborn. The annual Life Chain, which takes place the first Sunday in October, runs from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in each time zone.

Royce Dunn, director of Life Chain, said he believes hope for America rests in our willingness to repent of the innocent blood that has been shed through abortion.

"We've come to understand that the first and foremost purposes of Life Chain is to witness to us who participate in it — we the Church," he told Family News in Focus. "Then, (God) can use us to witness to the public."
