Good News: Star Parker Fights for Traditional Marriage

Conservative crusader Star Parker is taking the California Teachers Association to task over its opposition to Proposition 8, a constitutional amendment that would define marriage as between one man and one woman.

The teachers union and others who oppose the amendment continue to claim same-sex "marriage" has nothing to do with what is taught in California’s public schools.

"To call this misleading would be the understatement of the 2008 campaign season," Parker writes in a column for Townhall.com.

"Should homosexual marriage remain a legal institution in California, there is little doubt that children graduating from California's public schools will see homosexuality and homosexual marriage as normal and legitimate as proverbial American apple pie."

Parker goes on to say that California will set the tone for the entire country.

"Let's hope that Californians vote in November to save traditional marriage and help pull our nation back from moral oblivion," she writes.
