Good News: Young Conservatives Make Waves with Internet Video

A new video by two Dartmouth students is making the rounds on the Internet. Josh Riddle and David Rufful — or Stiltz & Serious C ,as they call themselves — bust out rap rhymes, preaching their conservative views. And they don’t shy away from their faith.

“The standards of my crew ain’t Republicans, dude," Riddle raps in the video. "I’m reppin' Jesus Christ and conservative views.”

Jason Mattera, spokesman for the conservative Young America’s Foundation, applauded their passion.

“They specifically talk about the importance of marriage, the importance of being pro-life," he said.

Mattera said new media is a perfect way to counter a national media that’s feeding liberal propaganda to young people.

“It’s not something we need a learning curve to adapt to,” he said. “We’re used to this type of stuff. Use Twitter, Facebook to introduce your conservative ideas to new audiences.”
