Media Finally Admit Health-Care Reform to Include Abortion

The mainstream news media are finally reporting a major problem with health-care reform – it would mandate insurance coverage for abortion.

The topic was picked up by The Associated Press Thursday and carried in newspapers and Web sites around the world.

Richard Doerflinger, associate director of the secretariat of pro-life activities for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, said no one with government health insurance would have the option of exempting themselves from the coverage.  That means insurance premiums and tax dollars would pay for abortions.

"This is the opposite of health care," he said. "This is something that takes life instead of enhancing or saving life."
