Reps. Steve King, R-Iowa, and Michelle Bachmann, R-Minn., are urging Americans to make their way to the U.S. Capitol for a rally to oppose the Democrats health-care plan this Saturday at 1:00 PM (EST).
Congress could vote as early as Saturday on the bill!
To date, the House version of the health-care bill, H.R. 3962, still contains direct federal funding of abortion, despite the protests of hundreds of thousands of Americans and despite attempts by pro-life lawmakers to ban abortion funding. Please consider rallying at the Capitol tomorrow as a way to voice your opposition to the health-care bill because it still includes federal funds that will be used to pay for abortion.
TAKE ACTION
Please contact your U.S. representative and ask him or her to oppose the health-care bill, unless it excludes funding for abortion. Also, please give special attention to the Blue Dog Democrats on this list – if one of them is your representative, please make contact by using our Action Center and typing in your zip code.
