Abortion Giant Drops Lawsuit

Planned Parenthood has dropped its lawsuit against Abby Johnson, the former director of its Bryan, Texas, abortion clinic.

Johnson quit her job after seeing an ultrasound image of an abortion being performed.  Planned Parenthood claimed she took confidential records with her when she left.

Steven Aden, senior legal counsel for the Alliance Defense Fund, said Johnson represents a story that Planned Parenthood doesn't want told.

"Planned Parenthood is a national organization that has been kept afloat by hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer funding," he said.  "The American people need to understand that this organization has been involved in scandal after scandal and has never owned up to them."
