Concert to Raise Awareness for Sanctity of Human Life

The Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Concert will be held on April 11 in Indianapolis.

Bobby Schindler, executive director with the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation, said he wanted to commemorate the five-year anniversary of Terri's death.

"We're holding this concert to do just that,” he said, "but not only to remember Terri, but to remind people that there's tens of thousands other persons like my sister living with brain injuries today that need to be protected.”

Terri Schiavo was severely disabled. Her feeding tube was removed at her husband's request and with the approval of a judge. She passed away shortly thereafter on March 31, 2005.
