Dems Take House; Senate Still Up in the Air

It appears the Democrats will take control of the U.S. House. Dems look to pick up 15 seats today, enough to take control when Congress is seated in January, CNN projected.

Key races where Democrats gained seats included Ohio's 18th Congressional District, where it's projected Democrat Zack Space will defeat Republican Joy Padgett for the seat formerly held by GOP Rep. Bob Ney.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who appears set to be the next speaker of the House, thanked voters, whom she said had sent a message to the administration.
