Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life Candidate List
It takes money to run for office. And the SBA List Candidate Fund is helping to raise funds for pro life candidates. Marjorie Dennenfelser is their President.
“This list and this effort and all the events that we’re having across the country have one purpose in mind. And that is to leverage the power of the entire pro life movement into a handful of really, critically important campaigns.”
Dennenfelser believes success in this next election is vital to the pro-life movement.
“I think what we can pray and hope for and strategize for now and work in this election to achieve is the beginning of the unraveling of Roe versus Wade so that we can begin to save some of the human lives that are lost every day.”
Janice Crouse with Concerned Women for America is pleased with the number of pro-life people running for office.
“It’s just really wonderful that we have so many strong candidates uh who are pro-life.”
While pro-lifers have the SBA List, Carrie Gordon Earll with Focus on the Family Action, says pro-abortion groups have Emily’s list, but there’s discussion about it recent effectiness.
“Last summer there were reports that Emily’s List and donations to Emily’s List were down compared to the previous year. Uh that could be that was an off election year slump, but it will interesting to see this year if uh that pro-abortion PAC can generate the kinds of money and donations that it did in the past.”
The SBA List has helped elect seventy-five pro-life candidates to the House, seven to the Senate, and seven to other statewide offices across the country.
