I wish all of you could have been with us to help "shake the rafters" at the Mellon Center in Pittsburgh for the first of our Stand for the Family rallies. These events are intended to remind people about the vitally important issues facing all of us on Election Day.
Nearly 4,000 people turned out to hear Dr. Dobson and other speakers lay out the case for casting informed votes and exhorting others to do the same. We chose Pittsburgh for the first of our three rallies because Pennsylvania has a critically significant race for the U.S. Senate. Also, the state legislature tied itself in knots over the definition of marriage, and politicians want to lure people into more state-sponsored gambling schemes. Voters need to know all of this before deciding who to vote for.
