Focus Action Ads Call on Minnesota Legislators to 'Let the People Vote'

from Focus on the Family Action

Minnesotans' chance to vote on a state marriage-protection amendment hangs on the decisions of two men, Sens. Dean Johnson and Don Betzold, who are stalling the legislation in committee.  The Minnesota House passed the amendment last year, and there are enough votes in the Senate to approve it, if it reaches the floor.  However, without approval from Sens. Johnson and Betzold, the amendment will die this year.

Ads running March 20 in Minnesota papers (the Minneapolis Star Tribune and the West Central Tribune) urge Minnesotans to contact Johnson and Betzold and urge them to let the people vote.
