Whether the arena is entertainment, media, religion, science, politics, or the schools, widespread acceptance of homosexuality and changing views on gender identity have brought about a sea-change in societal mores and values -- impacting Americans in their day-to-day relationships with family members, neighbors and co-workers.

Why is the impact of this challenging topic so pervasive? Could it be that human beings have been created in God's image as gendered beings -- male and female -- and that this complementarity reflects God in an undeniably unique way that is fundamental to humanity and the organization of civilization? And if this is so, then what happens to individuals and a society when we lose grasp of what it truly means to embrace God's created intent for human sexuality and gender?
