Dr. James Dobson was first introduced to me with his book Dare to Discipline when I was a young teacher. The principles helped me be a better and more confident new teacher then and a better parent when my three children came along a few years later. Listening to Focus on the Family radio programs has provided me with instruction, direction, correction and encouragement throughout my 37-year marriage, mothering three children, and now in my grandparenting years.
Every radio broadcast, every book, every video has contributed to my life and shaped me as a spouse, teacher, mother, grandmother, caretaker for an aging parent, in-law, friend, and church and community member. Thank you, Dr. Dobson and all those who contribute to the daily workings of Focus. May God protect you from all the dirt being thrown your way as a result of your unwavering faithfulness to biblical principles. Keep the faith and STAND FIRM — in Jesus' name and by His power.
