I am tearing up just thinking of how much Dr. Dobson has helped me through the years. My family and I are workers serving in East Asia. As a missionary, people sometimes look at me as if I should have all the answers to child-raising and spiritual growth, but I am a woman who clings to the Father daily to try and be the wife and parent I am called to be. God has used Dr. Dobson in my life to be my comfort, encourager, challenger, and support. It often seems that each broadcast has been skillfully crafted by God to meet my needs that day, right when I need it most. His guests have spoken to every area of my life, teaching me and guiding me through the practical understanding of my husband, my children, and their needs.
I do not claim to be a Proverbs 31 woman yet, but Dr. Dobson has been so faithful to be used by God to equip me and many others that he will never meet this side of eternity that I am convinced Heaven will testify to the children who have been blessed because of the faithfulness of James Dobson and his wife.
We live outside the U.S., and Dr. Dobson has been a lifeline for me to keep an accurate understanding of the spiritual wars being waged back at home. Because of his passion for our country and its foundations, I have become very active in keeping in touch with my congressmen and local leaders to make sure my voice is being heard in ways that I could not do otherwise because of geographic distance/lack of information. Dr. Dobson has shown me the need to actively protect the country I love and provided tools to help me do just that.
There are no words to accurately express how indebted to your ministry I feel. May God continue to use Dr. Dobson and all the Focus family to bless and enrich the lives of all families.
