My son is 32 years old, and I began listening to Dr. Dobson in the first year he was on the air. I looked forward to his broadcast every day. I have gleaned everything from marital help, (help) raising children and walking the Christian walk.
My husband is a pastor and has been for 13 years. I am so grateful for the insight and godly love Dr. Dobson has shown for the past 32 years. It doesn't matter what kind of program I listen to, I come away with more knowledge and commitment to God.
We are presently in the process of adopting a 7-year-old boy from Guatemala. We've had nothing but trouble with the whole process, but are looking forward to raising and teaching yet another child of the love of Christ. Your programs on adoption have been very helpful. My husband and I are in our 50s and probably will be more like grandparents to this little guy, but God has called us to do this and undoubtedly will give us the strength and endurance to carry this through.
We have a 28-year-old daughter with two precious grandsons, ages 7 and 3, and I am learning things from Dr. Dobson about grandparenting.
