'I am Proud to be Related to the Dobsons in the Family of God'

Has Dr. Dobson's Focus on the Family broadcast helped my family?

Only in that we reared our two children, now happy, productive Christian adults with families of their own, reading his books and listening to his godly counsel.

… and in that his steady, humble and scripturally sound words were like a voice in the cultural wilderness when my husband and I, young Christian parents, were listening intently for just that.

… and in that his love, faithfulness and growing appreciation of his own wife, Shirley, demonstrated to us that marriage could actually grow better through the years, as opposed to being merely endured.

… and in that he, like Rev. Billy Graham, because of his own integrity and faithfulness to God, has proven that a man can finish the race God designed for him as an example to the rest of us.

… and in that the man is real and honest and direct and, though a gentleman, doesn't hesitate to speak Truth even when it isn't welcomed.

I feel as if he and Shirley are close friends we've just never met. One knows family when we find them as surely as we know the voice of our Shepherd. I am proud to be related to the Dobsons in the family of God and am eternally grateful for his influence on our home.

God bless!
