'Thank you for Continuing Tirelessly in Your Battle for the Family'

I started listening to Focus on the Family in 1980 as a very young and inexperienced mom. I was also a very young Christian and didn’t have a clue how to parent, especially in a biblical way.

Dr. Dobson’s advice through his program and books helped encourage me so much in the ways to biblically parent my children. I was raised in a home that offered lots of discipline but not much in the way of character-building or encouragement in setting goals. I knew I wanted to raise my children differently. I wanted to teach them love and respect but also guide them to develop their God-given talents and abilities. Mostly, I wanted to lead them spiritually and point them to the wonderful God who had created them.

I didn’t do everything right, but my children are now wonderful, responsible, Christian adults in their 30s who give me many reasons to rejoice. I would not have had any idea how to tackle the task of Christian parenting were it not for the wonderful work and advice of Dr. Dobson. I consider him to be the man I most respect in the modern world. He has repeatedly proven himself to be of the highest integrity and honor and is certainly worthy of being looked up to for advice and council in living an intelligent and godly life.

Thank you, Dr. Dobson, for continuing tirelessly in your battle for the family and fighting for what is good and right in a post-Christian era.

May God continue to bless you as you press on.

Sincerely,
A grateful mom and grandma
Sharon, California
