'Dr. Dobson Helped Our Marriage Be Stronger and Helped Us Raise Our Four Sons'

We have been listeners for as long as Dr. Dobson has been on the air. He seems like a family friend. He helped our marriage be stronger with his sound, biblical advice. And he certainly helped us raise our four (now grown) sons.

One program resulted in a long-term ministry to teens and parents beginning in our town. In 1987-88, Dr. Dobson interviewed Mrs. Coleen Kelly Mast, who wrote the sexual-abstinence curriculum called "Sex Respect."

We were so encouraged and informed by that interview that we encouraged and helped our local medical auxiliary plan an all-day teen health workshop. We invited Mrs. Mast to speak to 1,200 junior high students from over 40 schools in West Tennessee. Since then, we have had many other nationally recognized abstinence speakers come and speak in our high schools. And to continue keeping the message before our youth, an abstinence organization formed and reaches 1,000 of teens and parents each year with the message of hope and encouragement to live lives of sexual purity. Thank you, Dr. Dobson, for being the catalyst for this movement.
